Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 2026
sensi is a desktop application built by CloudFrontiers Ltd (“we”, “our”). This page explains what we collect, what we don’t, and where your data lives.
What we don’t collect
- Meeting audio. Never leaves your device.
- Meeting transcripts. Stored locally in an encrypted SQLite database on your computer. Not uploaded to us.
- Knowledge documents, personas, notes. All local.
- Your API keys. If you bring your own Gemini / OpenAI / Claude key, it stays in Windows’ encrypted credential store on your machine. We never see it.
What we do collect (only if you sign in)
Signing in is optional. You can use sensi with your own API key and never hit our servers. If you do sign in with Google, we store:
- Your Google-provided email, name, and avatar URL.
- An encrypted copy of your Google Calendar refresh token, so we can quietly renew your Calendar access when it expires. We never read the calendar events themselves; that happens directly between your device and Google.
- Anonymous counters for how many AI requests you’ve made today, to enforce free-tier caps.
If you subscribe to sensi Pro, we also store a Stripe customer ID linking you to your subscription. Payment card details are handled entirely by Stripe. We never see them.
When we send your data to third parties
- Google. Only when you click Sign in with Google.
- Stripe. Only when you click Upgrade.
- Upstream AI providers (OpenAI, Google, Anthropic). Only when you have opted in to sensi Managed AI. In that case, the question you asked and the live-assist context block are sent to one of these providers so they can generate a reply. If you bring your own key, sensi talks to them directly and we see nothing.
Where your data lives
- Locally: on your Windows device.
- Backend: a server we operate in the UK, hosted on Azure via Coolify.
- Backups: daily encrypted snapshots of the Postgres database containing your account and usage counters. Retained for 30 days.
Your rights
You can:
- Sign out, which clears all tokens from your device.
- Email us at info@cloudfrontiers.co.uk to request a full export or deletion of your account. We’ll complete it within 30 days.
Changes
If this policy changes materially we’ll update the last updated date above and surface a prompt inside sensi the next time you open it.
